Processing Services
Using the latest in equipment and technology, BrunswickSteel is capable of processing steel products to any required shape or length. All processing equipment software results in cutting that is accurate and service that is efficient.
Laser Cutting
Our facility houses two 5000 watt Trumpf Trumatic L4050 high powered flatbed laser cutting centres. The 80" x 160" working area allows the Trumpf to be the master of high-speed cutting of thin metal or materials of up to 1" in thickness.
The pallet changer and lift-master, for automated loading and offloading, maximizes productivity by allowing for the quick exchange of sheets and finished work pieces.
Flame Cutting
The two Messer Edgemate CNC controlled cutting machines are capable of functioning as either Oxy-Fuel and/or Plasma cutting machines and both run on a 120" x 576" table. One machine is equipped with 6 Turbo Flame Oxy-Fuel torches capable of cutting up to 6” thick plate. The other is set up as a combination table equipped with 3 Turbo Flame Oxy-Fuel torches as well as the HT2000 plasma cutting system.
The HT2000 plasma is capable of cutting steel up to ¾” and Stainless Steel up to 1”.
Plasma Cutting
The Messer MetalMaster Plus Cutting Machine utilizes the latest in precision plasma technology to produce excellent looking parts for the fabrication market.
This machine comes equipped with 2 Hypertherm HPR400XD torches capable of cutting and piercing up to 2" steel plate on a 96" x 300" cutting area.
This machine can produce significantly better hole quality than what was previously possible using plasma. With the latest in Hypertherm True Hole technology cylindrical bolt ready holes are achievable with a diameter to thickness ratio as low as 1:1.
The Slagger self-cleaning downdraft table minimizes downtime and the Messer Global Controller make this machine efficient and easy to operate.
Press Braking
We have 3 press brakes running around the clock capable of handling complex multi-bend parts. Our Trumpf TruBend 5320, along with its extensive set of brake dies and impressive TruTops Unfold bending software, is changing the way we service our metal forming customers and opening doors to new bending opportunities.
The Trumpf TruBend's list of features has the potential to improve manufacturing time, as well as possibly eliminating steps in the production of more complex parts. This machine can provide over 350 US tons of pressure and bend lengths up to 160" long. The 6 axis back gauge increases bending options and the TruTops software ensures repeatability.
Saw Cutting
You can count on BrunswickSteel to take care of all of your precision saw-cutting needs. We operate a variety of modern computer controlled, automatic saws to accommodate just about any requirement, including profiles up to 20" x 30" and miters up to 60 degrees.
Our family of saws include three "horizontal" band saws and one "vertical" band saw.
We house our Hyd-Mech S-20 in our bar picking area. This saw is primarily used for orders that require a quick turnaround or material to be cut in half quickly.
Our Hyd-Mech S-20A and Hyd-Mech M-20A are located in our production sawing area. These two machines are capable of automatic indexing for high volume repeat jobs and they both run around the clock.
The Hyd-Mech V-18 is housed in our saw shack under our outside crane way. This saw is primarily used for processing beams and is capable of mitering in both directions. With the automated in-feed and out-feed conveyors we can easily and efficiently process structural orders of any size quickly and efficiently.
Shearing
Brunswick also offers shearing services that are provided by our 3/8 x 12 ft Shear with 48-inch back gauge.

CAD Office
Using the latest version of Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Mechanical, We can meet your design needs, whether you bring in a sketch on paper or a cardboard cut-out or a piece of equipment that we have to reverse engineer. We can also assist you to design whatever you require using the latest 3d software to create cutting and bending of just about any shape.
We also can accept and work with any .dxf or .dwg file and can open most 3d drawings and 2d drawings from any drawing software.
With our nesting software SigmaNEST and our ERP system Stratix working together we are better able to track orders and control material in real time.
With Trumpf TruTops software no formed piece is too complicated to program our Trumpf TruBend 5320 Brake.
