Plate Shape Cutting
Using the latest in equipment and technology for cutting,
Brunswick Steel has machines capable of cutting plate to any
required shape. All are computer controlled using the latest
software technology to provide accurate, efficient cutting.
 Trumpf Trumatic Times Two!
Brunswick Steel is pleased to announce the acquisition of a second Trumpf Trumatic L4050 cutting centre.
The Trumatic L4050 is a dynamic, high powered flatbed laser cutting centre. With an 80" x 160" working area, the Trumpf has mastered high-speed cutting of thin metal or materials of up to 1" in thickness.
These machines have automated pallet changer and lift-master for automated load and offload activities. This, in turn, maximizes productivity by allowing for the quick exchange of sheets and finished work pieces.
This second system greatly increases our agility by shortening the time to
delivery of cut materials. This in turn empowers our customers where issues of
time-to-market might be impacted by production cycle durations.
 Messer
Edgemate
We have two versatile Messer Edgemate CNC controlled cutting
machines which run on a table 10 FT x 50 FT in size.
Designed
for both Oxy-Fuel and Plasma cutting, one system is equipped
with 6 Turbo Flame Oxy-Fuel torches. The other machine is
equipped with 3 torches, both being able to cut material
from 5/8” to 6” thick.
The Edgemate is also equipped
with a HT2000 Plasma cutting system which processes both steel
from 1/8” to ¾” and
Stainless steel from 1/8” to 1” ms.
- Sawing
We have two horizontal and 1 vertical band saws. All pieces
can be mitre cut right or left. The largest capacity is
18 inch wide by 27 inch high.
- Shearing
We have a 3/8 x 12 ft Shear with a 48-inch back gauge.
- Braking
We have a 230-ton x 12 ft Cincinnati Brake with a computer
controlled back gauge and a 100-ton x 6 ft Accupress Brake.
- Iron Worker
We have a 90-ton Iron Worker. The largest whole diameter
is 1 ¼ inch.
